Pastor Author, pastor, faith-healer and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also known as Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His distinctive interpretation of the Bible has enthralled thousands of people across the globe.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the oldest of three sons who was born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God to her son at the age of a child.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon is following in her father's footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the world. In addition, she is known as CSO as a singer, she is a talented, award winning gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to study at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the location where he was able to feel God calling him to become a minister for the Lord.

The Man of God created what would eventually be one of the biggest churches in the world while He was still in school at the university. He had a small prayer group called 'Youth for Christ', which eventually evolved into one of the most well-known groups of its kind on campus and would serve as the basis of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the world.

The LoveWorld ministry under the direction of Chris, the pastor Chris, became the first pioneer of satellite television and Christian TV programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station that broadcasts from Africa, 24 hours a day, on air-free networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations available across satellite and cable networks throughout the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season that allow miraculous events to occur.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir that is trained and overseen by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singers are successful in their solo careers.

The Future African Leaders Foundation concentrates its efforts on the ongoing ministry of Pastor Chris. It's focused on developing and recognizing the next generation of leaders and helping them become successful in the future.
